Indira Gandhi Zoo Visakhapatnam Attraction

The Indira Gandhi Zoological Park was opened way back in 1972 and is located in the midst of the absolutely mesmerizing Kambalakonda wildlife sanctuary in Visakhapatnam. The park spreads across 625 acres of area and it certainly is a lovely place for picnics. The park has the advantage of being surrounded by the Eastern Ghats on 3 sides and the Bay of Bengal on the fourth side which makes it an exceptionally natural place. Almost eighty species of animals, reptiles, and birds are available in this park. Also, it has a section for a wide range of stunning butterflies and moths. Besides, one can enjoy the train ride, van ride, and elephant ride as well in the park. Apart from this, the park has an amazing auditorium as well as the library in it which makes it pretty helpful for the students.
